Request to Bring Progressive Talk Radio to the Greater Kansas City Area

As a radio listener in the greater Kansas City area, I am concerned that radio programming on local stations is too heavily skewed to a conservative point of view. To achieve better political balance that will promote public dialog and democratic discourse, I encourage radio station managers to consider switching all or part of their programming to progressive talk radio such as Air America.
I believe that progressive talk radio has a high probability of financial success in the Kansas City area because it is a market that votes predominately Democratic in local, state, and national elections. I also believe that progressive talk will succeed in the Kansas City area because of verifiable voting trends, and because people in this area enjoy healthy debate and are starved for a balanced perspective on our airwaves.

There is a large, underserved audience for progressive talk. I would definitely preset an Air America station in my cars and at home.

I listen to Air America in Colorado and feel we really need it here. I've heard that Air America stations do VERY well because progressives are STARVED for a voice. P.S. Those of us not between 25
