REVAFEST '06 feat. John Daker

Reva Cooper Unsicker taught singing, piano, and organ, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Peoria, Illinois (hereafter referred to as FUMC) like Reverend Jones, Bill Jones who opened our show last time and hes not here tonight so John Dakers here, Bob Spencer, Michelle Casey, and I all go to First United Methodist Church. Twice a year she would have her students perform their recitals on the local cable access channel, and the hour-long programs developed a cult following in the vein of Mrs. Miller. Videotapes of the "revafests" as they we called were sought after. John Daker was always on the Revafests.









Since her untimely death 10 years ago, Reva's recitals have ceased and her students have gone their seperate ways. We are calling for the revival of REVAFEST, and are asking FUMC to take charge in organizing the event for 2006. The event's star attraction will be none other than John Daker, who sang the very popular nowadays classics "Christ the Lord Has Risen Today" and "Amore" too, okay?









We look forward to REVAFEST 2006 and to seeing John Daker step to the microphone once more.
