Dear Cartoon Network and to whom this may concern,
As a dedicated fan to the anime, Naruto, I have heard the news of Cartoon Network placing the anime onto their Toonami line up. To say the least, myself and many other Naruto fans whom have been following the anime ever since it took its baby steps out into the world are devastated. Why Toonami? You placed Inu Yasha and Full Metal Alchemist on Adult Swim, which kept the anime intact and free from editing which take away the spirit of such a great show, yet you will not do this with Naruto? We believe that in licensing, translating, and dubbing voices for Naruto, you will destroy the essence of the Naruto anime. Many of the things that we enjoy about Naruto such as the graphic violence and some sexual content will be edited out for Naruto to be released in America. These things, along with many others, add character to the anime and without them, Naruto would suffer. We also believe that many of the Japanese expressions cannot be translated properly and would only hinder the greatness of Naruto. For example, "Kage Bunshin" and "Doppleganger" just do not produce the same effect. The proper names and titles for the characters (respectively) would also undergo changes and we do not want this. If Naruto is released in America or elsewhere with such changes, your fanbase will be angry and offended. Let our voices be heard...

I think that licensing the anime is a great idea, but I also think that the honorifics and jutsu names should be kept intact. Please do not edit this show- let it be shown on Adult Swim, in the form it was meant to be viewed in!
