Save Stoneham Park!.

This petition is to those residents and road users in Eastleigh (Hamshire), who disagree with the Borough councils local draft plan to situate 1300 homes on a site at Stoneham Park, an area bordered by Stoneham Lane and Chestnut Avenue. This area of Eastleigh is outstanding countryside, with unbroken continuity for around 2000 years, there are few other places in the United Kingdom where such unbroken continuity in the landscape can be demonstrated to the public. Couple this with the present traffic issues on Stoneham Lane and Chestnut Avenue, how can the roads cope with the increase in traffic that 1300 homes will bring?.
