Dear ABC Family:
We, the fans of your HIGHEST RATED SERIES, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, have been eagerly awaiting the second half of season three in January 2011. This week, we were informed that you are giving our spot to your latest series, Pretty Little Liars, and bumping us back to March 2011.
We are very worried and would like you to take a good long look at what youre doing: you are delaying your best series by two months at best, a.k.a. out of sight, out of mind. Please refer to Kyle XY and 10 Things I Hate About You (both prematurely canceled despite good ratings) in case you dont understand where were coming from. Spoilers, sides, star storyline scoops, promotional photos (not re-colored/rearranged old photoshoots), and new promotional clips (not remixed old clips) are a rarity for fans as it is during hiatuses and now you have gone out of your way to give us another hurdle. Realistically, how do you think this show will survive without adequate promotion for so long?
We LOVE the current summer/winter airing schedule of Secret Life. The reason it does so well is because of both us and its airing schedule. To move it to a new night and/or time, let alone a spring/fall schedule, would be the death of our show!
We fear that by moving Secret Life back to March, this is the first step you are taking towards cancellation and this petition is a preemptive response. As loyal fans of the show, were demanding that you do NOT cancel your highest rated series!
We want a fourth season!
We want to remain on Mondays at 8:00 P.M. EST!
We want to return in JANUARY 2011!

I love this show, some may see it as promotion teen pregnancy, but to me it shows what can really happen. It is not just a happy ending everybody goes through ups and downs.
