Save Wolverhampton Shops

Wolverhampton is currently planning a re-development which is going to wipe out many sole traders which form the heart of our city center. Customer's travel for miles to visit these unique shops and near we are all in fear that our lively hoods are going to be taken away from us. The re development will remove many individual shops leaving them no where to go, and the shops which will be built in place of our stores are going to be a debenhams or monsoon. They want to turn wolverhampton into another clone town which offers no benefits over going to merry hill or the bull ring. We arent opposed to making Wolverhampton a nicer area or the re development. Our issue is that nobody is giving us any help to find new premesis. Some of the shops on Cleveland street have been trading for 60 years. The vacant shops in the mander and wulfrun shopping centers are atleast 5 times the rent and rates. We need help to prevent Wolverhampton losing its individual charecter. Please sign our petition to help many shop keeps keep there businesses.
