WE, THE UNDERSIGNED call upon West Berkshire Council to:
- scrap current plans to build up to 2,000 houses on Sandleford Park;
- properly and fairly reassess the status and scoring of the Sandleford site relative to other Newbury and West Berkshire sites in the Local Development Framework; and
- concentrate on its commitment to re-using previously-developed land to meet West Berkshire's future housing needs in preference to building on greenfield sites such as Sandleford.
