1. SPACES Annual Budget
a. In order to access the funds allocated to SPACES according to the PULSE referendum, SPACES must submit a budget to the Board of Directors and the Vice President Finance and Resources to be approved.
b. The SPACES Annual Budget for the forthcoming school year shall be presented to the A.S. council and must be approved by 10th week of the preceding Spring Quarter.
c. Any changes to the budget must be approved by the SPACES Board of Directors and the Vice President Finance and Resources.
d. All unused funding by the close of the fiscal year shall be reallocated to the SPACES financial account.
e. Besides all funding allocated through the SPACES funding process, the SPACES Board of Directors shall have complete administrative and financial authority regarding all matters revolving around the mission and endeavors of SPACES, ASP & SIAPS.
The language will preserve the ideology of a student-run, student-initiated center that the students voted on in 2007 with the PULSE referendum. This was further solidified with the concurrent Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Associated Students and SPACES leadership. This language also ensures accountability to the Associated Students.
