A Call to Stand Firm Against a Hamas-led Palestinian Authority
Regrettably, it is now completely clear that the Palestinian
Authority is no partner for peace.
Whereas:The Palestinians have spoken: by an overwhelming majority
of the popular vote they have chosen Hamas to take
control of the Palestinian Authority.
Hamas, like al-Qaeda and Iran, has been unequivocal about
its goal to annihilate Israel, and to replace it with a
Taliban-like Islamic state.
Hamas has proven that it means what it says by its long
history of savage suicide bombing attacks against Israeli
civilians.Therefore:We call on the US to vigorously support Israel in its
battle for survival against a hostile, terrorist neighbor
that is passionately committed to its destruction.
We urge the US to refrain from pressuring Israel to
negotiate with or make concessions to the Hamas-led
Palestinian Authority.
We ask that the US immediately stop the transfer of funds
to the Palestinian Authority.
