Star Trek : Voyager Broadcast Quality On CBC TV8

This is a petition to the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation in Barbados about their sloppy broadcasting of the series "Star Trek : Voyager", Saturdays at 6:00 pm. The series is almost impossible to follow on CBC's TV8, as scenes are prematurely cut in order to facilitate advertisements. Unfortunately, when the episodes return, the scenes are not resumed from the point at which they were cut. This results in significant loss of footage essential to the plot of the stories, preventing the viewing public from understanding the episodes. Furthermore, serialized episodes are shown in the wrong order, and so far, one episode has not been shown at all (Prey in Season 4).

The Star Trek franchise has captured the hearts of millions worldwide, and it has become somewhat of a tradition to see it airing on Saturdays on CBC TV8. However, with the shoddy broadcasting practices of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation when airing this show, as well as frequent preempting due to sports and cultural events, many longstanding fans are becoming fed-up and are refusing to watch.

This petition has therefore been created to urge the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation to air the episodes of the series Star Trek : Voyager in the correct order, whenever possible, and in their entirety.

We thank the CBC for the their decision to air all the series of the Star Trek franchise in order. We hope that this petition will show the Corporation the wisdom in airing Star Trek : Voyager in a way that all viewers can appreciate, understand and follow the stories.
