We, the players and watchers of the StarGate(TM) based game, StarGateWars appeal to the owners of the show (MGM) about the recent copyright infringement that has come apparent.
StarGateWars is a fun game, where you can (or could until recently) battle across the universe as a Goa'uld, Tauri, Replicator or Asgard.
This game has over 20,000 players!
Admittedly, images that are MGM copyright are used, and characters/races that are intellectual property of MGM Pictures, but they have never been used in any way but to give enjoyment to the fans of StarGate:SG1 and StarGate Atlantis.
The game has been running since February, and had a record number of users online on the game forums today - over TEN pages of asking what is going on.
I have not heard of ANYone who is happy about this decision, and while the hard working game admin had to do it, MGM could always let him through...
We wish to ask for MGM to let Jason (Forum as he is known to most online players) continue to use MGM related copyrights, to a negotiable EXTENT.
