Stop Piczo!

We believe that the Owner(s) of the free web hosting service, http://www.piczo.com/, is not doing their job when it comes to people copyright infringing on other peoples work. A number of webmasters, including myself, have emailed Piczo numerous times about sites that they are hosting who are stealing/redistributing our graphics and such of that nature. Some of us have even asked the owners of the sites to take down all our graphics or whatever stuff of ours they were stealing/redistributing but they didnt. Instead they only took down half the graphics or whatever they had taken and in some cases didnt take down any at all. We then tried to get Piczo to do something about it. I personally emailed them and they send me back this email:

Do you want to protect your photos so that people can't copy them from your website? You can use "Right Click Protection" to do this.

Here is how:
1. Login and click "Settings".
2. Click "Website Settings".
3. Where it says "Right Click Protect", click Edit to turn it on.

This will make it harder for people to copy your photos. However, please note that there is no foolproof way to prevent people from copying your photos once they are placed on your website.

I was one of the lucky ones. Others who have emailed Piczo have never gotten a response back from them. Let me just point out also that what they said in that email does not help all of us. Some of us dont have a Piczo website. Some of us either pay for our own domain or are hosted by some other free host. Whenever we go to some other host about someone who they are hosting who is copyright infringing on our work they do something about it. Piczo is the only host, I personally, have every emailed about someone who they are hosting who is copyright infringing on my work that they didnt do anything about. We will not rest till something is done. Weather it be having Piczo shut down or finally getting them to start doing something about all these people who they are hosting who are copyright infringing on our work. We all think its time something was done about Piczo.
