Mr. President,

                      As citizens of the world all our hearts have been shocked by the slaughter of children and adults in Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

                      Against sudden madness we are powerless.
                      But against the use of weapons, we can do something.

                      We ask in memory of the children killed yesterday and all the people who have lost their lives because of the indiscriminate use of weapons to go beyond words and be brave.

                      We ask with all our hearts as parents, children, brothers, sisters, to stop the insufficiently restricted sale of weapons of any kind.

                      And also we ask you as the holder of the Nobel Prize for Peace, to discuss all Heads of State of the world with regards  to this issue, to promote the values ​​of this battle for peace and hope to create a better future for ourselves and for the generations to come.
