We, the undersigned students of the University of Minnesota Law School, support the candidacy of Mary Patricia Byrn for tenure-track professorship. We feel Professor Byrn is an invaluable member of the Minnesota Law School faculty.
She is an irreplaceable teacher and mentor to both current and former students. Through a variety of teaching techniques, Professor Byrn engages and challenges students in a manner befitting one of the nations most highly regarded law schools. Her classes exemplify everything that the law school experience should be: she requires rigorous scholarship,encourages engagement with the material, and fosters lively debate.
