We, students, alumni, and friends of Mount Carmel School concerned about credible news reports of corruption in our admissions system, wish to declare our support for the investigation into the alleged bribing of its Vice Principal, K.C. Thomas (MCS, Anand Niketan) on July 14th 2006. We commend NDTV for its series uncovering corruption in schools and urge them to continue to be the voice of the people and of justice as they pursue their findings.
We further wish for Mount Carmel School to be aware that the faith of students past and present in its leaders has been severely damaged. We urge the administration to hold itself to the measures of self-analysis and self-improvement that it has long held its students to, and to begin with good faith an internal investigation and to assist in any impending government inquiries.
Above all, we call on justice to take swiftly its course and for wrongs to be made right.
