Due to the goverment passing some stupid law that no tv show watched by an young audience is aloud to promote the consumption of any junk food the makers of the show have to change the way that the cookie monster acts towards food and no longer calling him his trade mark name "Cookie Monster" . Allowing this to happen would be a crime to the generations that actually sat there at 6am watching the show.
