We, the undersigned, as students of Cleveland State University urge our faculty, staff, and administrators to keep a tradition that has helped to build a sense of community on this campus. Currently, many of us attend regular programs or meetings hosted by student organizations, attend meetings of faculty senate committees, and meet with our professors and/or otherwise work on our schoolwork. We sign this petition in an effort to express our concern that the elimination of common hour will decrease student involvement, and lower student retention at Cleveland State University. It is our hope that you will listen to the voices of the undersigned, as we are the students that pay the tuition dollars that run this university.
