"Petition for the removal of Bruno Grandi from the International Gymnastics Federation, regarding the humiliation of American Gold Medalist Paul Hamm."
We, The Undersigned, demand that Bruno Grandi, head of the International Gymnastics Federation (aka "FIG")- formally and officially apologize to Olympic Gold Medalist Paul Hamm for writing the letter he wrote to Mr. Hamm regarding his possible return of the Gold Medal that was awarded to Mr. Hamm. This is one of the most brazen acts that could be committed by an Olympic Official of any capacity, in an attempt to shift any possible blame for it's own actions to a competitor. Mr. Grandi should be completely ashamed of himself.
Furthermore, we request the Mr. Bruno Grandi be removed and permanently barred from the International Gymnastics Federation for his attempt to HUMILIATE Olympic Gold Medalist Paul Hamm via said letter.
As Americans we are outraged that this type of conduct has been permitted and sanctioned to take place by a member the International Gymnastics Federation during the 2004 Olympics.
