Vote Leslie County Wet

We need a way, to improve the economic situation of our
county, before its entirely too late to even attempt to
do anything about it. And in our opinion, one small step
toward this goal, is to vote our county wet.

We understand that alot of people have alot of issues
with the distribution of alcoholic beverages. But there
are several pro's to this sensitive matter. The main
reason, is obviously the revenue that it can bring in
to our county. Perry County, will be our prime example.
Perry County has several great restaurants such as,
Applebees, Renos, Cliff Hagans, La Pena, and El Azul.
All of which would rather make their home in a town,
that allowed the distribution of alcohol, seeing as this
is a major source of income for these establishments.
Perry County also has some great night clubs for people
to visit on the weekend to hear live music, interact with
others, dance, and just generally have a good time.

As stated before, we understand that this is a sensitive
issue, as it should be. Several people will be very concerned
with the amount of D.U.I's and D.U.I related accidents that
this could bring. However, if Leslie County was voted wet,
the establishments that distributed alcohol, would be more
frequently watched and monitored by police and county officials.
Thus potentially LOWERING the number of D.U.I's and accidents
related. And as we all know, if someone wants alcohol, regardless
of their age, they will find a way to get it. Distribution will
not promote the usage of alcohol in our county, it will help
to show the ramifacations of the mistakes that can come with it.
It will also help to show why people shouldn't make a habit of
drinking constantly.
