For the last few years the Government both Labour and the Conservatives have unfairly targeted the Police service in relation to pay and conditions.
In 2008 there were 60,572 respondents of the "Have your Say" Police Federation poll. 86% of respondents voted in favour that the Police Federation should start to lobby for Industrial Rights.
It is now 2012 and following publication of the Winsor reports it is clear the Government are gunning for the Police Service.
Whilst Police Officers across the Country are struggling to make ends meet the Federation are only coming out with posters and statements. "Enough is Enough" is their mantra but what exactly does this mean ?
We need clear and decisive action in times of need and it is apparent the Police Federation of England and Wales are not up to the job. In May this year the Federation are going to conference to discuss putting our subscription cost up. Also they plan to discuss the honoraria payments that the joint executive committee receive which can be up to £1000 a month on top of their police salary !
Enough is Enough - The Police Federation have failed to represent the views of the rank and file officers.
Leadership change is needed please give me your support in a vote of No Confidence against the Police Federation of England and Wales.
