WE THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH deplore George W Bush's doctrine of 'pre-emptive defence'. This is promoting wreckless, needless attacks and destabilising the world from the Indian sub-continent to Israel. War should be the last resort, not the first.
WE THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH deplore George W Bush's failure to acknowledge climate change and to sign the Kyoto agreement. Climate change's devastating effects are with us now. We want short-term selfishess to be abandoned in favour of the long-term future of the planet.
WE THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH believe George W Bush's desire to 'spread the frontiers of freedom' will be impossible unless the United States respects freedoms in its own backyard and abroad. The failure to give prisoners in Guatanamo and Iraq a fair trial is hypocritical and wrong.
