The abolishment of the Multicultural Units will result in long term ramifications to education and the community. Why are multicultural programs targeted in the cuts to education? Who will be responsible for monitoring equity without regional Multicultural Units? Who will settle our refugees and newly arrived into the education system? We urge the government to reinstate Multicultural Units
and demonstrate their commitment to supporting a multicultural NSW.
