West Reading Air Pollution Control

Support Clean Air in West Reading.
The West Reading Air Pollution Control Ordinance will be formally introduced by Councilman Michael Morrill at the March 20 Borough Council Meeting. The ordinance will require that operation of any incinerator of bodies, body parts, infectious and/or chemotherapeutic wastes must produce a baseline study on mercury pollution in the borough and must provide continuous monitoring of its mercury and dioxin/furan emissions.

This is the minimum protection we should require of incinerators in our community.

I fully support this ordinance and urge all members of West Reading Borough Council to vote in favor.
