A Pledge from Conservatives to Liberals

Counter Petition from Conservatives to Liberals:

Now that you have won control of the House and Senate we, the Conservatives of America (otherwise known as the "Bible-Thumping, Gun-Toting, Knuckle-Dragging-Mouth-Breathing Rednecks) pledge the following:

1) When you destroy our military we will shake our heads and ask you why you lack foresight.

2) When you destroy our economy with social programs we will ask you why you hate success and embrace socialism at the expense of the greatness of the human spirit.

3) When you appease extremists from abroad we will ask you if you know the meaning of "Patriotism."

4) When you stifle dissent under "Hate Crime Laws" and the guise of "Tolerance" we will ask you if you have actually read and comprehended the First Amendment.

5) Finally, when the war comes home, and our economy is wrecked to the point of Europe's and our military doesn't have the resources to protect you, we will stand up, with our guns in one hand and our bibles in another, and protect you too, for we are charged with protecting the weaker among us from the evil that would steal your Freedom and your life, even if we do consider you to lack any semblance of cognition or common sense.
