Abolish Senate ... and Spend Money Else Where!

I am really tired of seeing Senate scandals in the recent Past and I fail to understand purpose of Senate in Canadian Politics. Please help me in this regard and this will benefit all Canadians regardless of Background, Ethnicity etc.
