Add "Voice Chat" Features to Age Of Empires III's Online Multiplayer System

Microsoft & Ensemble Studios' "Age of Empires" series has been a worldwide success-15 million games from the series have been sold since its debut in 1997. With each installment, the games improve in many aspects: features, graphics, sound, and many others.
The latest installment in the series is Age of Empires III. This game has truly outdone the previous 2 games: it finally removed the game from so called "2.5D" isometric graphics to true three dimensional views. Buildings explode, cannons fire, muskets reload, all like the real thing.
Perhaps the biggest new feature is Ensemble Studio's new multiplayer sector: Ensemble Studios Online (known colloquially as ESO). This replaced Microsoft's old "MSN Zone" multiplayer, and allows for automated patching, matchmaking, supremacy skill rankings, and much more. However, one feature that has been heavily requested was not included in the game: voice chat.
Voice chat allows users who have a microphone (either stand-alone or in a headset) to speak to each other without typing, which can be crucial in high-paced battles. Such technology has been highly successful in console online multiplayer gaming networks, such as Xbox Live and PS2's Socom online multiplayer.
Even though Microsoft has shown that it can create the technology well for this application, as shown by its Xbox Live voice chat service, it has not included voice chat in Age of Empires III. With all of its other major advances in both the series and the real time strategy genre, voice chat is a miniscule decision.
The feature could be implemented with a switch to turn it on or off, in order to save bandwidth and resources for players on slower internet connections. However, many gamers would like to be able to talk with their mouths, rather than with their fingers.
Please, Microsoft & Ensemble Studios, I am sure that all fans of your series will agree with me when I say: please implement a voice chat feature in a patch, or in the upcoming expansion pack, War Chiefs. It would be much appreciated by all fans, and surely sales will rise, benefiting you.
