Against 'Three Examinations a Day' at the University of Auckland

We do not wish to see the 'three examinations a day' proposal introduced at The University of Auckland.
Examinations are the most important activity that a student will undertake during their time at university - determining their career prospects and academic future. We believe this proposal, if introduced, will lead to an increase in student stress and could have a detrimental impact on student performance.
We are also concerned at the safety risks posed by the late finishing time of an evening exam.
We urge The University of Auckland to consider alternatives that ensure the safety and wellbeing of students is their paramount consideration.
