ALLOW THE INSECURITIES TO PLAY Q101'S BLOCK PARTY!

The Insecurities won a contest through Q101 who is hosting the block party featuring 311. Based on the statement below it sounds like a talented band is NOT going to get to play the show that was awarded to them. We the undersigned believe this is uncalled for and The Insecurities SHOULD be allowed to play!

"My band won a contest through the radio station here in Chicago to open the 311 Show at Charter One Pavilion. Needless to say, I've been beyond ecstatic about this.
So just now I get an email from our singer after he talked to the radio station. Apparently 311 refuses to let the contest winner play on the same stage as them. They also refuse to let any of us backstage or have any guest passes for our wives or anything.
I've been a diehard 311mfan for 13 years (half my life), been to 34 shows (including 4 311 days), and I'm really just crushed right now. Not only does this suck for us, but now we have to explain the whole situation to our family, friends and fans who were looking forward to this event.
I'm beyond disappointed in 311 for this."
