This petition ask the Florida State Legislature to enact legislation creating an Amber Alert System for Missing Women and College Students. The success of the Amber Alert System has proven that coordinated law enforcement search efforts combined with general public awareness increases the probability of successfully locating missing victims. We feel that with an amber alert mechanism in place for this group, law enforcement response time will be tremendously intensified and quickened. We need your support to help protect women and college students from becoming victims of violent crime.
