A man dragged a 2 year old dog to death in Hyderabad on 31st July 2011, by tying it to his auto-rickshaw. A heart rendering tale of human atrocity, cruelty & perversion... This gory crime should have attracted the severest of punishment Guess what-the culprit got away scot free by paying a fine of Rs1050 (less than 20 Euros) for this heinous crimeBlame it on the antiquated Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act of 1960 !!
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated the words of no less than Mahatma Gandhi,the father of Independent India.
Surely the helpless animals deserve a better deal !! We-the members of Caring Hands For Animals & the undersigned,request you -to please have the proposed Animal Welfare Act, 2011 passed by the parliament on a priority.

Every life has a right to live...why do we have animals being killed in a cruel manner and the man can go scott free, but if the same thing was done to a human, all would be up in arms. I am seeking justice for that voiceless four legged. I want justice.
