ATi support for 3-D Stereo Vision Shutter Glasses

We, the undersigned, call upon ATi Technologies to implement native support for 3-D Stereo Shutter Glasses into their CATALYST Suite driver line-up. Focussing on the page-flipping method in particular.

It is imperative that we as the loyal ATi customer voice our opinions and sign this petition, ATi needs to be made aware and be attentive to our market needs and respond accordingly. As of the moment ATi does not recognise or see a great deal of market demand for this feature. By signing this petition ATi must now react to customer demands as they will now see market conditions changing.

ATi cannot further ignore this issue as their main rival in the market place have been sporting this functionality in their universal driver suite for the past couple of years already, and still will have the support for the foreseeable future.

3rd-party wrappers (drivers) has not been able to satisfy the customer needs of the ATi Radeon owner, popular 3-D Stereo Vision Shutter Glasses vendors such as eDimensional hasn't been able to deliver a satisfactory driver for their ATi based customers. We, the ATi gamer, require Page-Flipping support rather than the less liked Interlaced mode, in any driver whether that be a wrapper or native support in the ATi CATALYST Suite.

"I think the thing that bothers me the most about this Radeon 9700 Pro / 3D Glasses thing is the fact that I have emailed ATI at every email address at ati.com I can find, posted Catalyst feedback multiple times, and posted on every forum I can think of and still Ati doesn't even bother to reply in any way.

I hate to say it, but I think it might be time to sell my two 9700 Pros and buy a GeForce FXs.

I hate to miss out on these glasses. Please Ati, at least respond!! Your absence is -very- conspicuous!!"

Please support our cause by adding your signature to this petition. To ATi, please give your loyal ATi client-base what they want. We would like to see you acknowledge the fact that there is a demand for stereo gaming and put in the effort to create these drivers for your CATALYST Suite. There are a lot of forum topics pleading for 3-D Stereo Vision Shutter Glasses support.

With the advent of the launch of the X800 series, this feature will make a most welcome addition to the already great CATALYST Suite.
