B.D. Wong for Sulu in Star Trek XI

Why B.D. Wong, do you ask? Let's go through the reasons:
1. B.D. Wong is Asian. Though Sulu is of Japanese ancestry, and Wong is Chinese-American, this ethnic casting incongruence has never stopped Hollywood before (see: Memoirs of a Geisha).
2. B.D. Wong is gay. George Takei is gay. Coincidence?
3. B.D. Wong is a celebrated television actor. Given J.J. Abram's policy of casting small-screen unknowns for his big-screen projects, bringing in a well-known television actor would be ideal.
4. B.D. Wong is badass. Just look at Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit. Dr. George Huang is quiet, dignified, and in control of every situation. Much like Sulu.
5. B.D. Wong is ripped. Just look at The Substitute 2: School's Out. You could grate cheese on those abs.
6. B.D. Wong was in Jurassic Park. This isn't a very strong reason for him to play Sulu. I just really like Jurassic Park.
I hope you consider these reasons substantial enough to cast B.D. Wong for the role of Sulu. I will be expecting your decision within the next two weeks. Thank you.
