Ban lip chain use at ApHC horse shows

We, by endorsing this petition, are asking the Board of Directors of the ApHC to strongly consider enforcing the rule brought up in board motion #18-03-04 Rule 713.A.1.b prohibiting lip chain use for all mares, geldings and weanling stallions. We feel the use of a lip chain is both abusive to the horse and detrimental to the public image of the Appaloosa. We feel the ApHC should follow the lead of other major breeds that ban lip chains and prevent this type of abuse from occurring in the show ring.
