Unborn children have heartbeats at a very early age. Like a child out of the womb, they pass developmental milestones, can recognize their mother's voice, and feel motion.
Abortion hurts the fetus. It is a selfish, criminal act that takes away from a mother's life the joy and happiness of having a child. Even if the mother that is giving birth to the baby would not keep the child if it did live, the baby could be given up for adoption. Not all people who apply to adopt a child will receive one. The mother in question could enlighten another's daily life by giving birth to the child. Abortion is legally murder, since a fetus gains a heartbeat after only approximately twenty days in the womb.
Abortion should be banned nationwide, and possibly worldwide. The number of laws abortion violates is overwhelming. Abortion needs to be stopped.
