Bowie Bus Reinstatment Petition

We, the undersigned, request the reinstatement of the second morning Bowie bus to the DOTS transportation route. The Bowie bus with the arrival time of 9am to the University of Maryland campus was not only frequently used by faculty, staff, and students, but, in addition, was convenient for all commuters. The 9am arrival bus was convenient not only for faculty and staff with a 9-5 job schedule, but also for students, for whom classes often do not start until after 9 am. The reinstatement of the 9am Bowie bus arrival time will not only increase current bus use, but it will decrease traffic and car-use on the University of Maryland campus. We, the undersigned, believe that for the benefit of the University of Maryland community and the environment as a whole, that the 9am Bowie bus should be reinstated.
