Boycott MSNBC for firing Keith Olbermann

We, the undersigned, pledge to boycott MSNBC, and their sponsors, in response to the company's dismissal of Keith Olbermann and the subsequent cancellation of his program, Countdown With Keith Olbermann.

Keith Olbermann has been the face of MSNBC for 8 years and helped put the channel on the political and national map. Whatever problems MSNBC's hierarchy had with Mr. Olbermann, does not justify ending a program loved and watched by millions of Americans as MSNBC's most-watched primetime program.

We, by no means, expect or wish MSNBC rehire Mr. Olbermann but rather that they face economic repercussions, at the behest of Countdown's fans, for their imprudent and unexpected decision to let Keith Olbermann go. When a company ignores their faithful, in such a blatant and insulting manner, they should face repercussions.
