The night show was cancelled at Wean in 2007 or so. In the members letter sent out (which I still have) they blamed the younger generation for making it into a B&S. This was never the case and a huge coverup of the truth.
The real reason it was cancelled was the licensee at the time was caught drunk by the licensing sergeant.
I had a written petition made up after it was cancelled but didn't submit it. Now since the mine has brought it I think there is a huge change to get it back seeing as they aren't going to stop the races from running.
