Bring Tommy Wiseau to Richmond for The Room on Feb. 12, 2010

Dear Mr. Wiseau,
It started with one. One person told me about the genius of your cinematic magnum opus, The Room. After seeing a preview online, I did not even rent the movieI bought it right away. Thats right, I was so convinced of the movies greatness that I spent $15 right off the bat.
It was a $15 well spent. In fact, I feel that $15 was too LITTLE to spend for such an awesome ode to the human psyche. Many, many viewings later, I know nearly every line. I can croon along with all the songs. I have introduced all of my friends to the plight of Johnny and, like H1N1 (but a life-changing, positive version of H1N1), the fascination spread. They, too, are now obsessed with The Room.
First of all, I would like to say kudos, sir. Not only have you directed an amazing film; you have also written, acted, and produced an amazing film. The Room is, without a doubt, the most glorious cult film of this century, and I will perpetuate its awesomeness until the day I die.
Second of all, I want to tell you how thrilled I was to learn that there will be a midnight showing of The Room at Richmonds own Bowtie Cinemas on February 12. Thrilled, in fact, is an understatementI was ECSTATIC. I have already made a Facebook event to announce the screening, and I plan to have a group of at least thirty persons attending with me.
Mr. Wiseau, it would be an honor of the highest degree if you could fly to Richmond for the February 12 showing of The Room. As art and theatre majors, we would love to have the opportunity to sit down with you and pick your brain. Of course, we will take you out for dinner and drinks, transport you to and from the airport, and pay for your plane ticket and accommodations.
Let us know as soon as possible if you are able to make it to Richmond so we can begin fundraising. This petition includes the name of many, many people who will most definitely attend The Rooms screening if you agree to make an appearance. Please grant Richmond this honor.
