Canyon Country Sign in Pictou County, Nova Scotia

We, the fans of George Canyon, respectfully request that a permanent Canyon Country sign be erected at the Pictou County line to replace the one recently removed.
George Canyon has single-handedly put Nova Scotia and Pictou County on the map for thousands of people on both sides of the border. His success on Nashville Star, coupled with the Hot Spot segment featuring Pictou County, has inspired many of his fans to plan a trip to the area just to experience firsthand some of the Canyon Fever displayed by his hometown crowd and further evidenced by his being named Pictou County Ambassador and Ambassador to Nova Scotia. A big draw is the sign declaring Pictou County Canyon Country. In the hearts and minds of Georges fans, Pictou County is Canyon Country. The sign stating that fact must be replaced with a new and permanent sign, otherwise we, the fans, may be less inclined to a visit a place that doesnt appear to support one of its own.

George Canyon was the best overall performer in the Nashville Country Contest and lost only because hes was a Canadian and I believe we must do everything possible to promote our Canadian talent.
