We, motor racing enthusiasts of the world, believe that the current Indy Racing League (IRL) and Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART) split is detrimental to the quality of open wheel motor racing in the United States.
As both IRL and CART endure small grids, disappointing television audiences, mediocre quality fields and sponsorship struggles, we believe that the only way forward for open wheel racing in the US is through the re-unification of IRL and CART into one series.
The benefits of a combined series are monumental, and certainly in the interests of all involved. Perhaps one day, Indy Racing can once again rival Formula One as the greatest racing series in the world.

Maybe once CART goes V10 and has int'l manufacturers involved, both series' engine suppliers could build naturally aspirated V10's, as Honda and Toyota already do this for F1, and then we could work on a schedule...

Both series have problems to fix! Go back to the original CART formula of ovals, street and road courses but run it like NASCAR - a benevolent dictatorship, not a board of team owners who don't care about exciting racing.
