We the students of chapel hill high school, feel that it is in our best interest to allow Shaan Hassan to run for student body president. Chapel Hill High School requires that students be part of the student government for one year before one can run for a student body office.
Unfortunately, The current system in place prevents persons who have not joined student government from running, after the beginning of junior year, as elections take place at the end of each school year.
We, The Undersigned, believe that people should be allowed to run for office no matter their role in student government and as such, Shaan Hassan should be allowed to run for student body president.
