Clear Snow Path to Parked Cars

Hi I'm a resident of The Heights, Jersey City and I'm sick and tired of having to climb over two or three feet of snow everytime I need to get in or out of my parked car. I'm 34 yrs old, imagine how much more difficult it is for our elderly population.
Currently our City snow removal codes do not address this issue. The current codes state that private property owners need only clear a walk way thru their sidewalk but clearing a path to the curb side for people to get in and out of their cars is currently considered a courtesy only.
As far as parking is concerned, the codes only address Public parking Lots/ Garages. Sign this petition with me and together we can send a message to our mayor's office stating that we need & demand that property owners be forced to clear a path on their sidewalks to the curbside in order that elderly and others need not climb over piles of snow & ice to get to & from their automobiles
