Coatbridge Dirt Jump Park

The mountain biking community in Coatbridge has no where to bike. Skateboarders in the community have been built a skatepark yet there has been nothing for mountain bikers. Bikers are having to ride in the street which is dangerous and further more illegal. All we need is an area of unused land large enough to have some reasonable jumps built. All we ask from the city is to bring in a few loads of dirt to help with the building. Once the dirt is dumped, the bikers can go from there. If this is too much to ask we will willingly go out with shovels and do all the building ourselves. This will benefit not only the bikers but will also help reduce accidents on pavements and lower the amount of illegally built jumps. We just ask for somewhere we can legally have fun and increase the safety of the sport.
