Lucas Arts has stopped developing the graphic adventure game "Sam & Max 2: Freelance Police". According to them, the market for a graphic adventure game is not big enough.
This is no what I see. Ive seen a lot of people complaining that too few adventure games are made these days, celebrating the good old days of Sam & Max, Day Of The Tentacle, Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, Zak McCracken, Beneath a Steel Sky... the list of great adventure games goes on and on.
I hope the Signatures will make Lucas Arts think twice about cancelling the Sam & Max project, which they according to their url http://www.lucasarts.com/press/releases/85.html have done.

Hey, I'm still playing the good old classics in ScummVM (Day of a Tentacle, Sam'n'Max, Monkey Island series, etc.) I was planning to buy this game as soon as it hit the shelves! Major disappointment.

I really enjoyed the original game, and it would be terrible if the development of the new game were stopped.
