Counter-Strike has always had it's release problems but Valve has definately drawn the line. Steam software is an unneeded accessory and only an extra wait to connect and play the number one game in the world. Sign this petition to show Valve that we want traditional downloads for updates. A 500 Megabit server is not enough to handle the number of people who want to download the CS update. A traditional update would allow us to download an updated version of Counter-Strike from a site more local to us. It's time we show Valve what we want and tell them that Steam is not worth the time or effort that is required to allow full scale updates to be downloaded. Let it replace WON, but these problems will only continue if action is not taken.
