This petition is for people to express their support for reduced bus fares for 16-17 year olds. We believe that bus fares for young people in the Preston area are extortionate and should be immediately reduced. To this end, we propose that a pilot scheme of our 'Teen Ticket' idea should be introduced. This would see 16-17 year olds pay a reduced fare, though not a child fare. This scheme would ideally operate throughout the Preston area and involve Stagecoach, Preston Bus and John Fishwick and Sons.
