The lack of subtitled films in the Glasgow area is very disappointing to most deaf people that live in the area, at current we only have one cinema out of at least 5/6 providing regular subtitled films, but only covering a small variety of films.
I would like to petition all cinemas in the Glasgow and surrounding areas to start providing more subtitled films on a regular basis and including newly released films to stop this discrimination against deaf people.
At the moment we have to wait and then either purchase or rent DVDs with subtitles, and are discriminated against enjoying a newly released film on the big screen.
