We the people of Derbyshire demand that our County Council implement the agreed restoration plan for the former Arkwright Colliery site.

The plan was initiated in 1992 in the original Section 106 Agreement between British Coal and Derbyshire County Council. The plan has had eight revisions from 1997 to December 2008.

The plan states "The land shall be restored as (a)Agricultural (b) Woodland (c) Wetland (d) Recreation and (e) Other Conservation".
