As the family of Rachel Gandal and the community behind them, we DEMAND that you revoke the ability of David Thomson to post bail for the brutal murder of Rachel Gandal on December 6, 2007 and hold him in custody until trial. If he is allowed to post bail we believe that he will flee to avoid standing trial for his actions. This CAN NOT be allowed to happen. It is your duty to protect our community and the families of victims and if you release him you are not upholding your responsibility and you will be allowing a guilty man to go free.
