We respectfully request The Forum newspaper to provide balanced treatment of political cartoon strips. Currently, The Forum runs the conservative-oriented "Mallard Fillmore" on its daily and Sunday comics pages, but the liberal-oriented "Doonesbury" only on Sundays. We request that, particularly in this presidential election year, The Forum add "Doonesbury" to its daily comics page to provide a fair political balance. If "Doonesbury" cannot be added, we request that "Mallard Fillmore" be dropped.

If you continue to run only Mallard Fillmore, at least put it on the editorial page where, as a political cartoon, it belongs.
